Specific Requirements
The portal installation requires either an M5.xlarge or M5.2xlarge instance type and at least 100GB EBS storage volume.
Note
Amazon often add instance types that are more powerful for the same or even less money. CTERA recommends checking with CTERA Support for the latest recommendations.
In a small or test environment, with a single server deployment, the requirement is a 64-bit virtual machine with minimum 8GB RAM, 2 CPU cores and 100GB EBS storage volume. If you intend to run a messaging server, then you must have at least 16GB RAM.
