Creating the CTERA Insight Proxy Server

The CTERA Insight proxy server must be installed in the same environment and the network for the CTERA Insight proxy server must have access to the CTERA Portal server. The following sections describe how to create the CTERA Insight proxy server on the following platforms:

• VMware ESXi
• AWS
• Azure

You can also create the CTERA Insight proxy server on any of the platforms that support running a CTERA Portal, such as IBM Cloud, as long as the proxy server and CTERA Portal run in the same environment.
