To install the CTERA Portal Server in Hyper-V:
- Open the Hyper-V Manager.
- Right-click the hypervisor and click Import Virtual Machine....
The Import Virtual Machine wizard opens, displaying the Locate Folder dialog box.
- Click Browse, and browse to the CTERA Portal image.
- Click Next.
The Select Virtual Machine dialog box is displayed. - Click Next.
The Choose Import Type dialog box is displayed.
- Select the Copy the virtual machine (create a new unique ID) option and click Next.
The Choose Folders for Virtual Machine Files dialog box is displayed.
- Specify where to store the CTERA Portal virtual machine.
- Click Next.
The Choose Folders to Store Virtual Hard Disks dialog box is displayed.
- Specify where to store the CTERA Portal hard disks and click Next.
The Completing Import Wizard dialog box is displayed.
- Click Finish.
- Right-click the virtual machine and click Start.
