The CTERA Portal Administrator will need to run scripts using SSH to connect to the portal server. For example, when configuring storage.
The scripts are located in /usr/local/ctera/bin
The following table lists some common portal scripts:
Script | Description |

portal-dump.sh | Create a Java stack dump file for troubleshooting. |
portal-failover.sh | Switch roles between primary and replication servers. |
portal-performance-util.sh | Run a storage pool performance test. |
portal-log.sh | Display tomcat or database logs. |
portal-manage.sh | Start, stop, or restart portal servers. |
portal-storage-util.sh | Manage storage. |
portal-support.sh | Manage access to the cterasupport account. |
portal-timezone.sh | Update the machine timezone. |
portal-tomcat.sh | Manage Tomcat servers. |
rescan-files | Scans all the files in all the virtual portals for viruses. |
