Licensing

A license is consumed for as long as the CTERA Agent device is defined in your CTERA Portal account, even when signed out. If you are no longer using an CTERA Agent, you can delete the CTERA Agent entry from your CTERA Portal account to regain its license.

The following options are available:
CTERA Drive Share enables you to sync files to the CTERA Portal global file system in the cloud to provide enterprise file sync and share (EFSS), enabling you to sync to selected folders and their files on your portal Cloud Drive and share those files.
CTERA Drive Protect enables you to back up files to the CTERA Portal global file system, which provides cloud-based backup and disaster recovery. If you are subscribed to CTERA Drive Protect, the agent consumes one account. If you are only subscribed to CTERA Drive Share, and not to CTERA Drive Protect, the agent does not consume a CTERA Drive Protect account.
