Mapping Cloud Drive Folders

  • PDF

Article summary

You can define more than one cloud drive for a CTERA Agent to map to. By default, there is only one mounted drive, /, which is mapped to Z: or the first free letter less than Z:.

As well as being able to define multiple drives for specific folders in the cloud drive, you can specify a specific letter you want to assign to a specific folder in the cloud drive.

For example, you can specify /My Files has the drive letter R: and /My Files/Templates has the drive letter T:

You specify the mappings in an adm file, ctera-mount.adm available from the Download Center.

In ctera-mount.adm DriveLetter is the drive letter that will be associated with this mount-point. Enter a letter from A: to Z: and Path is the folder path to mount. "/" represents the user's Cloud Drive. To map the user's My Files folder, use* /My Files*. To map a Shared With Me folder called example use /Shared With Me/example.
