CTERA Agent uses overlay icons to represent specific scenarios, such as a file or folder marked to be backed up. The overlay icons are sized according to the view:
Tray Icon Overlay Icons
Overlay Icon | Description |
---|---|
![]() | The agent is not connected to a portal. |
![]() | The agent is connected to a portal: Syncing files between the portal global file system and the local computer is suspended. Or, Backing up files to the portal or restoring files from the portal is suspended. |
![]() | The agent is connected to a portal and is: Syncing files between the portal global file system and the local computer. Or, Backing up files to the portal or restoring files from the portal. |
Backup Overlay Icons
Note
The backup overlay icons are only available when CTERA Drive Protect is licensed.
Overlay Icon | Description |
---|---|
![]() | The file is marked to be backed up. The folder and all sub-folders are marked to be backed up. |
![]() | The folder and all some of its sub-folders are marked to be backed up. |
Sync Overlay Icons
Overlay Icon | Description |
---|---|
![]() | The local file is synced with the portal global file system. The folder is synced with the portal global file system. |
![]() | The local file is being synced with the portal global file system. The local folder is being synced with the portal global file system. |
![]() | The folder is not synced with the portal global file system. |
![]() | An error occurred when syncing the file. |
Stub Overlay Icons
Note
The stub overlay icons listed are for Windows 10. These icons can be different depending on the version of Windows.
Overlay Icon | Description |
---|---|
![]() | The file is a stub file. |
![]() or: ![]() | The folder is a stub folder. The folder with the overlay icon when the view is Medium icons or larger is ![]() |
