Execute CLI Commands from the Administrator User Interface

CTERA Edge Filers include a command line interface (CLI), with a rich set of commands that can be accessed from the user interface to perform actions not directly available in the GUI.

Step-by-step guide

To access the edge filer (gateway) CLI interface:

1. Log in to the edge filer user interface as an administrator.
2. Select any option in the navigation menu (for example, System > Firmware).
3. In the address bar of your browser, delete the string that appears at the end of the URL, after config/ (for example, firmware if you clicked System > Firmware in the previous step) and type cli in its place.
   For example, change https://192.168.28.214/admingui/main.html#/config/firmware to https://192.168.28.214/admingui/main.html#/config/cli
4. Press Enter.

The CLI execution page is displayed.
