Adding a Second Network Interface

When upgrading from a version before 8.3.3300.x you must add a second network interface that is used for internal communication between portal nodes.

1. Create a Secondary Elastic Network Interface (ENI) and attach this ENI to the instance before performing the upgrade.
   Note

   You can add the Secondary Elastic Network Interface (ENI) via the AWS Management Console or AWS CLI.

2. Remove the default route from this network interface.
