Configuring Notification Settings

To configure notifications for which emails are sent:

  1. In the global administration view, select Settings > Control Panel in the navigation pane.
    The Control Panel page is displayed.

  2. Select Notification Settings, under Notification And Log Settings.
    The Notification Settings page is displayed.

  3. Select the notifications which you want to be informed about via email.
    The following notifications can be set:
    • Storage node notifications:
      • The storage node is almost full, specified by a percentage.
      • The storage node is full.
      • The storage node is offline.
    • Local server storage notifications:
      • The storage pool is almost full, specified by a percentage.
      • The storage pool is critically low, under a specified number of gigabytes.
      Note

      When reaching critically full state , the server will operate in degraded mode. image.png

      • The storage pool is full.
      • The storage pool has failed.
      • No Snapshots taken in the past. Snapshots of the storage pool have not been taken for a specified number of hours or days.
      • Replication setup failed. The storage pool replication setup failed.
    • System notifications:
      • Certificate will expire in. The portal certificate has a specified number of days remaining before it expires.
      • Catalog database is down.
      • Server is offline.
    • Portal notifications:
      • Trial about to expire. The portal trial is about to expire.
      • Over device quota. The number of devices exceeds the quota.
      • Over storage quota. The amount of storage exceeds the quota.
      • Near storage quota. The storage quota as set by a percentage threshold.
      • An add-on is about to expire.
      • An add-on has expired.
  4. If you changed the settings, click Save.
