To upload firmware:
- In the global administration view, select Settings in the navigation pane.
The Control Panel page is displayed.
- Select Firmware Repository, under SETTINGS in the Control Panel page.
The Firmware Repository window is displayed. - Click Upload.
The Upload Firmware Wizard opens displaying the Upload Firmware window.
- Click Upload and browse to the file to upload.
- Click Open.
The firmware is uploaded to the relevant device platform category and a completed window is displayed. - Click FINISH.
Marking Firmware as the Current Firmware
When you mark firmware as the current firmware, all devices of the relevant device platform that are set to automatically download firmware will download this firmware.
Only one firmware is allowed on a device platform.
To mark firmware as the current firmware:
- In the global administration view, select Settings in the navigation pane.
The Control Panel page is displayed. - Select Firmware Repository, under SETTINGS in the Control Panel page.
The Firmware Repository window is displayed showing the firmware available in the repository.
- Select the firmware to make current.
- Click Mark as Current.
The selected firmware becomes the current firmware and is marked with the icon.
To mark firmware as not current:
- In the global administration view, select Settings in the navigation pane.
- Select Firmware Repository, under SETTINGS in the Control Panel page.
The Firmware Repository window is displayed showing the firmware available in the repository. - Select the firmware row.
- Click Remove Current.
