Advanced Search
CTERA Portal Search lets users quickly find any file they’re authorized to access across the Global File System, with a dedicated search index, tiered licensing (from basic filename search to full-text and AI-powered queries), and an advanced metadata-driven search UI for precise, large-scale discovery.

CTERA Content Services is required to use the advanced search.
Archiving Content
When the portal is licensed for archiving content to secondary storage, the end user view includes an Archive Vaults option. An end user defined with the Archive Operator role can move data to an archive cloud folder or restore from that folder.
