ESXi Deployment
The ESXi OVA now includes the ability to specify two networks, one (eth0) used for external communication and the other for internal communication.
Global Administration
Google Cloud Storage (S3) Storage Node Supporets Direct Mode
The Google Cloud Storage (S3) storage node now supports direct mode.

Team Portal Administration
Share Management
Centralized Share Management introduces a new portal interface for creating and managing shares directly from the CTERA Portal. Administrators can create, edit, and delete cloud shares directly from the Portal, automatically synchronizing configurations across multiple Edge Filers with real‑time validation, conflict prevention, and visibility into per‑device share status.
Fusion Direct
CTERA Fusion Direct unifies file and object storage. Data can be accessed as files through SMB or NFS and as objects through S3, allowing users, applications, and modern data processing environments to work with the same datasets. Fusion Direct simplifies infrastructure while enabling flexible access to data for collaboration, analytics, and data-driven workloads.
CTERA Archive
CTERA Archive enables organizations to seamlessly move inactive data from primary storage into cost‑efficient Archive Cloud Folders while keeping it accessible by CTERA services and as metadata. Centralized retention policies, quotas, and dedicated archive roles ensure compliant long‑term preservation and controlled restoration of historical data at scale.
New Email Templates
The following email templates have been added:
- Edge Filer Cache Full - Eviction Failed
- User is over archive quota limitation
Additional Role
A new role, Archive Operator, for both administrators and end users, enables managing content that has been archived.
