A user defined with the Archive Operator role can move inactive data from primary storage into cost‑efficient archive cloud folders while keeping it accessible by CTERA services and as metadata if the poretal is licensed for archiving storage.
An administrator must have defined a cloud drive folder to be an archive folder and a user with the Archive Operator role. That user with the ability to work with files can then move those files into the archive folder.
