To view CTERA Edge Filer's network settings:
- In the Configuration view select System > Network in the navigation pane.
The Network Interfaces page is displayed.
Note
For edge filers running on ESXi, two network adapters can be defined in the edge filer VM in vSphere, so that traffic can be segregated to enable better performance and security.
The Network Interfaces page displays the following for each network interface:
- The interface name.
- The MAC address.
- The Maximum Transmission Unit (MTU) on the network interface.
- The status of the CTERA Edge Filer's network connection: Connected or Disconnected.
- The CTERA Edge Filer's IP version and IP address.
- The Netmask.
- The IP address of the default gateway.
- The IP addresses of the primary and secondary DNS servers.
