Sources

A source is where the data will come from. The private data that is used in CTERA Content Services is curated from datasets, and each datset has a source.

To add a source:
After signing in, the Dashboard page is displayed.

1. Select Sources in the navigation pane.
   
2. Click New Source.
   
3. Enter the source details:
   Name – A name to identify the source.
   Type – A type of source from the drop-down list.
   Host – The URL to access the data source.
   If the Type is Web you also specify the number of directories to crawl.
4. Enter the authentication details. The required details depend on the Type.
5. Enter whether you want the source status to be Enabled or Disabled and click Save Changes.
6. Repeat for other sources you want to add.

To edit a source:

1. Click Sources in the navigation pane.
   
2. Click the source to edit.
   
3. Make the changes as required.
4. Click Save Changes.
