Sources

A source is where the data will come from. The private data that is used in CTERA Content Services is curated from datasets, and each datset has a source.

To add a source:

1. Select Sources in the navigation pane.
   

2. Click New Source.
   

3. Enter the source details:

   • Data Source Details
     Name – A name to identify the source.
     Type – A type of source from the drop-down list: CTERA, Web, or Altassian.
     The page changes depending on the Type selected.
     Type is CTERA:
     

     • Portal Authentication
       • Basic Auth
         Slide Tenant Auth on for tenant authentication.
         Enter the Username and Password to access the portal and optionally, the Access Key ID and Secret Key values.
         Enter the Host URL.
       • Oauth
         Enter the OAuth Discovery URL, Client ID, and Client Secret to access the portal and optionally, the Access Key ID and Secret Key values.
         Enter the Host URL.

     Type is Web:
     
     Limit – The maximum number of directories to crawl or 0 for unlimited directories.
     Discovery Mode – The method used to discover pages: Sitemap for delta discovery, RSS Feed for new articles discovery, or both methods.
     Auto-Refresh Interval – The interval between recrawling the source.

     • Portal Authentication
       Optionanlly, enter the Firecrawl API Key.
       Enter the Host URL.

     Type is Altassian:
     

     • Portal Authentication
       Enter the Email address and the Token.
       Enter the Host URL.

4. Enter the the Source Status, either Enabled or Disabled.

5. Click Save Changes.

To edit a source:

1. Click Sources in the navigation pane.
   
2. Click the source to edit.
   
3. Make the changes as required.
4. Click Save Changes.
