CTERA Drive Connect must be connected to a CTERA Portal version 7.0.186.32 or higher. CTERA recommends using CTERA Portal version 7.0.186.36 or higher.

CTERA Drive Connect can be installed on Windows 10, Windows 11, Windows servers 2016 and up, or the latest two releases of macOS (to include macOS running on the Apple M1 CPU).

Notes

Installing CTERA Drive Connect may be problematic in the following situations:

Antivirus software that does not recognize CTERA Drive Connect is running on the machine.
CTERA Drive Share/Protect (Agent) is running on the machine, as overlay icons will not be displayed in CTERA Drive Connect.
