CTERA Products End-of-Life/Support Statement

CTERA End-of-Life/End-of-Support Announcements

Versions not supported since 2019, such as the C200 with a Kirkwood processor or versions 5.6.x and earlier, are not included in this statement.

CTERA Portal  7.2.x

End-of-Support Date: June 30th, 2024

As of June 30th 2024, CTERA Networks will end support for CTERA Portal 7.2.x.

End-of-support means that CTERA Networks will stop releasing improvements and/or bug corrections for CTERA Portal 7.2.x.

CTERA 7.2.x end-of-support notes:

• Bugs found in CTERA Portal 7.2.x OS image or software versions will not be fixed.
  

To upgrade your CTERA Portal to the latest supported version, submit a portal upgrade request to CTERA Support (https://www.ctera.com/support/).

CTERA Edge Filer Version 7.2.x

End-of-Support Date: April 30th, 2024

As of April 30th 2024, CTERA Networks will end support for CTERA Edge Filer 7.2.x.

End-of-support means that CTERA Networks will stop releasing improvements and/or bug corrections for CTERA Edge Filer 7.2.x.

CTERA 7.2.x end-of-support notes:

• Bugs found in CTERA Edge Filer 7.2.x firmware versions will not be fixed.
  

To upgrade your CTERA Edge Filers to the latest supported version, submit an upgrade request to CTERA Support (https://www.ctera.com/support/).

CTERA Portal and Edge Filer Version 7.0.x

End-of-Support Date: September 30th, 2023

As of September 30th 2023, CTERA Networks ended support for CTERA Portal 7.0.x and CTERA Edge Filer 7.0.x.

End-of-support means that CTERA Networks stopped releasing improvements and/or bug corrections for CTERA Portal 7.0.x and CTERA Edge Filer 7.0.x.

CTERA 7.0.x end-of-support notes:

• Bugs found in CTERA Portal 7.0.x OS image or software versions will not be fixed.
• Bugs found in CTERA Edge Filer 7.0.x firmware versions will not be fixed.
  

To upgrade your CTERA Portal and CTERA Edge Filers to the latest supported version, submit an upgrade request to CTERA Support (https://www.ctera.com/support/).

X Series Edge Filers

End-of-Life Date: April 30th, 2023

As of April 30th 2023, CTERA Networks ended sales of all the X Series (XC600, XC600H, XC1200, XC1200H) Edge Filers.

End-of-Support: April 30th, 2024

As of April 30th  2024, CTERA Networks will end support for X Series (XC600, XC600H, XC1200, XC1200H) Edge Filers. End-of-support means that CTERA Networks will stop releasing improvements and/or bug corrections. Replacement products: https://www.ctera.com/product/ctera-edge-filer/.

CTERA C200 and C400 Edge Filer end-of-life notes:

• CTERA Networks stopped manufacturing CTERA X Series Edge Filers.
• CTERA Networks disallows hardware and software support renewals (Cloud Care) for CTERA X Series Edge Filers.

CTERA Version 6.1.x

End-of-Support Date: September 30th, 2022

As of September 30th 2022, CTERA Networks ended support for CTERA Portal 6.1.x.

End-of-support means that CTERA Networks stopped releasing improvements and/or bug corrections for versions 6.1.x.

CTERA 6.1.x end-of-support notes:

• Bugs found in CTERA Portal 6.1.x OS image or software version will not be fixed.

To upgrade your CTERA Portal setup to the latest supported version, submit a portal upgrade request to CTERA Support (https://www.ctera.com/support/).

CTERA Version 6.0.x

End-of-Support Date: June 30th, 2022

As of June 30th 2022, CTERA Networks ended support for CTERA Portal 6.0.x, CTERA Edge Filer 6.0.x, and CTERA Agent 6.0.x.

End-of-support means that CTERA Networks stopped releasing improvements and/or bug corrections for versions 6.0.x.

CTERA 6.0.x end-of-support notes:

• Bugs found in CTERA Portal 6.0.x OS image or software version will not be fixed.
• Bugs found in CTERA Edge Filer 6.0.x firmware versions will not be fixed.
• Bugs found in CTERA Agent (CTERA Drive Share/Protect) 6.0.x software versions for Windows, Mac, and Linux platforms will not be fixed.

C200 and C400 Edge Filers

End-of-Support and End-of-Life Date: March 31st, 2021

As of March 31st 2021, CTERA Networks ended support for C200 and C400 Edge Filers (using x86 processors). End-of-support means that CTERA Networks stopped releasing improvements and/or bug corrections. Replacement products: https://www.ctera.com/product/ctera-edge-filer/.

CTERA C200 and C400 Edge Filer end-of-support notes:

• Bugs found in CTERA C200 and C400 Edge Filer firmware version 6.0.696.29 or earlier versions will not be fixed.
• CTERA C200 and C400 Edge Filers are not tested with new CTERA Edge Filer firmware.

CTERA C200 and C400 Edge Filer end-of-life notes:

• CTERA Networks stopped manufacturing CTERA C200 and C400 Edge Filers.
• CTERA Networks disallows hardware and software support renewals (Cloud Care) for CTERA C200 and C400 Edge Filers.

C800 and C800+ Edge Filers

End-of-Support and End-of-Life Date: June 30th, 2020

As of June 30th 2020, CTERA Networks ended support for C800 and C800+ Edge Filers. End-of-support means that CTERA Networks stopped releasing improvements and/or bug corrections. Replacement products: https://www.ctera.com/product/ctera-edge-filer/.

CTERA C800 and C800+ Edge Filer end-of-support notes:

• Bugs found in CTERA C800 and C800+ Edge Filer firmware version 6.0.696.25 or earlier versions will not be fixed.
• CTERA C800 and C800+ Edge Filers are not tested with new CTERA Edge Filer firmware.

CTERA C800 and C800+ Edge Filer end-of-life notes:

• CTERA Networks stopped manufacturing CTERA C800 and C800+ Edge Filers.
